We are Nate, Jake, & Andrew—a small team obsessed with turning visionary ideas into valuable technology. How we work says a lot about who we are and that's probably the best way to understand what "Avodah" means - a seamless integration of our values and our work.
You might not notice right away, because when we are working with you, we are all in - focused, driven, excited. But don't mistake our passion at work for more than our commitment to excellence in all that we do. It is the things we do outside of work that anchor us and give us the energy and joy to serve clients. The joy we have as husbands and fathers is what drives our excellence.
In a world where tech jobs are some of the easiest to achieve solid income and work-life balance, people might ask why we choose to build a business ourselves. It's certainly not the allure of one day running a large tech company, or the hope that we each can live out our last days on a super-yacht. The common theme in us, and all the people we tend to attract and work with, is a desire to take ownership and build things with excellence without compromise. The reward that comes from understanding our clients and building software they love to use, rather than just completing the next project assigned to us, is what gives us the courage and drive to keep building Avodah.
